“Joy is not in things; it is in us.”
~Richard Wagner
How would your life be different right now if you were living an extraordinary life with an abundance of joy? Take a few minutes to see yourself living this life. In fact, it would be good for you to visualize yourself living an extraordinary life every morning for at least five minutes. We are likely to draw to us what we believe will happen. You are meant to live this life. Take one step at a time now that you are on this journey.
First, let’s examine the amount of joy you currently have in your life. Do you experience joy at least three times a day? If not, make a list of twenty-five things that give you joy. Creating an abundance of joy will require you to be open to all possibilities (Tweet This). Perhaps you feel joy when you are in nature, listening to music, or dancing by yourself. Do you feel joy when you see a beautiful sunset or pet a dog? Add those things to your list. Maybe a good cup of coffee or a special treat adds joy to your life.Perhaps you would feel joy when you learn how to do meditation. Do you experience this feeling when you are accomplishing something? How did you experience joy while you were growing up? Why not add those things to your list, too?
Put your list on the refrigerator. Review it and pick three ways you are going to add joy to your life each and every day. You are the only person who has the power to add instant joy to your life at any moment. Give this gift to yourself! There is an unlimited amount of joy waiting for you! Allow yourself to experience joy more and more each day!
